Justice By Hell Fire
you will notice the word "hell" is used 54 times
in the bible.
Old.Testament "sheol" + New Testament "Hades"
both mean "the grave"
the word "Gehenna" in the New Testament =
"a place of burning"
back in the days of Jerusalem at the south and west
walls there was a garbage dump and it was always
burning (also known as "the valley of hennum")
and so the jews saw it as a metaphor or
analogy as the final destruction of the wicked.
the question is when does The Lake of fire occur??
(Matthew 13: 40-42)....the son of man shall send fort
his angles ...and gather them which do iniquity
and cast them into the furnace of fire ;so shall
it be in the end of this world.
(Matthew 13: 49) ...so shall it be in the end of the world
(Mathew 16 :27) the son of man shall come in the
glory of his Father with his angels and shall reward
every man according to his works.
There can never be a sentence of punishment to anyone
before their trial begins and this trial will begin
when the son of man (Jesus Christ) returns to this earth.
(2nd Peter 2:9) the Lord know how to deliver
the godly out of temptations and to reserve
the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished
(2nd Thessalonians 2 :8)
And then shall that wicked be revealed whom
the Lord shall consume with the spirit of
his mouth and shall destroy with the brightness
of his comming.
where will this Lake of fire be???
(2nd Peter 3: 6, 7)
whereby the world that then was, being
overflowed with water, perished.
But the heavens and the earth, which are
now by the same word are kept in store
reserved unto fire against the day of judgement
and destruction of the ungodly men.
We can see here that the Lake of fire will take place
right here on this earth on the day of Judgement
to all the wicked.
Then what does the Bible means by "the bottomless pit"?
(Revelation 20:2-3) "And He laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent,
which is the Devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
and cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set
a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more,
till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that
he must be loosed a little season."
when the bible speaks about the "bottom less pit" (Revelation 20:1)
that word in greek really means "the abyss" from
the greek word "abussoz".
In (Genesis chapter 1) during the creation of the world,
the holy spirit of God was seen hovering over the
fountains of the deep and the same word "abussoz"
is used to describe "the deep".
Therefore, the World will be left in total darkness for 1000 years
until the judgment throne will take place.
(Jeremiah 4:23-26), (Revelation 20:11-15)
when mentioned of satan bound with a chain for 1000 years (millennium)
in the bottomless pit.(Revelation 20: 2)
it does not mean he will be actually chained down for 1000 years.
It simply means that after the destruction of the wicked,
the devil will be left with no one to temp or deceive
during this 1000 year(millennium) period.
(1stThessalonians 4:16,17)
This will let him see what his act of sin has
caused to the world and since he wanted to be
like the most high, the concequences will leave
him with no ability to do anything and this is
what is meant by him being chained.
There he will be for 1000 years to look at an
empty world and its devastation.
All these things he will be left alone to think about .
Let me make note of a true fact here about
this same Satan who is called the Devil.
He is not the creature wearing a red-suit
with a long tail and a pitch-fork in his hand
as many people believe and many drawings portrait.
That is something he wants the world to believe
because in the end-of-times he will try to
counterfeit the comming of Jesus Christ and
according to the bible "even many true christians"
will be deceived and follow that lie.(Matthew 24:24)
Satan is actually an angel of light, whose name was Lucifer.(which means bearer of light")
And because he became jelouse of God and became proud of himself,
wanting to be above God, he was then cast down from heaven with
all the Angels who also rebelled against God.
(2ndCorinthians 11: 14)
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers,
transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
And no marvel;for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Now it is here on earth he is doing his final battle
before the end-of-times which he knows is near and
which he knows will be his final end in the Lake of fire.(Revelation 12: 12)
And when it says he will be loose after the one thousand years;
that is because all the wicked will now be resurrected for their
day of judgment. The new Jerusalem will come down from heaven,
and the feet of Christ will rest on the mount of olives, so
that the area of that ground will split in two from east to west,
forming a great valley, in which this new city will be placed
in the midst. (Zechariah 14:4)
So there will be the righteous inside the holy city, and the
wicked outside the holy city. (Luke 13:28)
Satan now goes forth to deceive the wicked to surround
the city and take it.(Revelation chapter 20)
But they will not get far, because earth's history
and God's plan of salvation for everyone will be
revealed and shown in display before their eyes.
All will conclude that he was indeed a just God.
and every knee shall bow and every toungue will Confess
that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
(Romans 14:11, Philippians 2:10-11,Isaiah 45:23)
And then fire will consume them all.(Revelation 20: 14,15)
And after these things the Lord will make
a new heavens and a new earth.
(Revelation 21, Isaiah 65:17)
How great it is to always set our minds on the
heavenly things compared to the things of this world.
We have just learned that the Lake of fire will take
place on this earth. This is the only way that
God can permanently destroy sin to have it
all consumed in fire along with the sinful nature
that plagued this world.
Then where are all the dead today???
(John 5 : 28 ,29 )
Marvel not at this for the hour is
comming in which all that are in the graves
shall hear his voice and shall come forth
;they that have done good unto the resurrection of life
and they that have done evil unto the resurection
of damnation.
(Job 21 : 28 -32)
...where is the dwelling places of the wicked?
...the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction.
..yet shall he be brought to the grave, and shall
remain in the tomb.
(John 11:11) jesus says our friend Lazerus is asleep (in his tomb).
That is how jesus calls death.
All who die in Christ shall be in the
Kingdom on the last day.
(Psalm 115:17) The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down in silence.
(Psalm 146 :4) the thoughts of the dead perish in
that very day they die.
(Eccles 9: 5-6)..The living know that they are alive,
but the dead know nothing...
(Daniel 12:2)And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,
some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt
We now know that all who died from the past
to the present times), are still in the grave,
and this is compared to a state of sleep until
the second comming of Christ. They are asleep in
the grave with no thoughts or conciousness.
Peter preached a sermon to the church
at Pentecost, and he said For David is not yet
ascended into the heavens. (Acts 2:34)
Of course David is still in the grave awaiting
the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
..now when King David said :
" Because you will not abandon My soul to Hades,
nor allow your Holy One to undergo decay"(Psalm 16:10),(Acts 2:25-27)
The jews always called the place where the
unsaved or the wicked would go is "Hades".
Jesus died for our sins and he paid our penalty
which is death and seperation from God.
This Seperation Jesus felt of sin when he
was on the cross, and that is why he cried out
"My God ,My God ,why have you forsaken me.
(Matthew 27: 46)
Now when it says Jesus went down to "Hades"
it must bring us to what he said in
(Revelation 1:18) "I am he that liveth ,and
was dead; and behold, i am alive for evermore.
and have the keys of hell and of death."
(Hebrews 2: 14)...He (Jesus) also himself likewise
took part of the same (flesh and blood); that
through death he might destroy him that
had the power of death; that is the devil.
(Revelation 20:6)
"Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection.
Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be
priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years"
Now we understand why Jesus died for our sins
and it is because he is the first born from the dead,
he is the resurrection and the life.(Colossians 1:18)
He went down to hell "Hades"/the Grave and took
the keys (which means his death paid our full price,
and open the way to everlasting life)
so that we who would have died in sin and be
subjected to this death and seperation from God,
are now released from this burden only
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Is the Lake of fire Forever, how long will the fire last?
Would a merciful and loving creator
burn anyone for eternity?
The answer is absolutely NOT!!!
If God sees the very sparrow that falls to the Ground,(Matthew 10: 29)
then how much more would he want anyone burn for
eternity.?
It is the glory of God (who is also called the eternal God)
and even called a consuming fire is what's called "eternal"
(Hebrews 6:2) of the doctrine of baptism
,and of the resurrection of the dead,
and of eternal judgement.
That does not mean our Lord will judge for eternity.
(Jude 7) ...sodom and Gomorah suffering
the vengeance of eternal fire.
we all know that Sodom and Gomorah is not burning today,
and still the fire was eternal.
(Ezekiel 33 :11) ...As i live,says the Lord God,
I have no pleasure in the death
of the wicked.
God have no pleasure in the wicked and he knows
the wicked will not like heaven because they will
still have the lust of the things of the world in
them and they would not find that in heaven or in
the new world. So he is a Just (right justice)
God ("to punish") but he is also merciful.
The glory of God is a consuming fire, and this is what is
also called "eternal fire", because God is Eternal.
Sin will be destroyed forever along with the wicked.
(1st John 3:15) no murderer have eternal life
abiding in him.
(Romans 3:23) ...the wages of sin is death...
"not living death"
My friends, Eternal life is only given to the righteous (those who follow Jesus Christ)
(Psalm 37 :10,20) ..the wicked shall not be
(not excist anymore)..they will
consume away in smoke.
(Isaiah 1:28) ..they (the wicked) are together and consumed in fire
(Malachi 4:1) ..all the unrightous will be stubble
and ashes ( out of excistance)
(Obadiah 16) ..they shall be as if they was not.
(Ezekiel 28: 14- 18)...i will bring forth a fire
from the midst of thee (Satan), it shall devour thee,
and i will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the
sight of all them that behold thee.
What did Jesus meant by "where the worm never dies?
and the fire is not quenched?"
Jesus quoted this line 'mark 9:48' from the book of Isaiah.
And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that
have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither
shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
(Isaiah 66:24)
First of all, we need to know what is meant by "the worm" in this context.
The only way we can find the answer is to seek the answer in the word of God,
for there-in is this prophecy. we read in (Isaiah 41:14)
Fear not, you 'worm' Jacob, you men of Israel! I will help you,
says the Lord; your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.
We now know that Isaiah was referring to Israel as "the worm"
which never dies. The bible says the lake of fire will take
place in the presence of the holy angels and of the lamb.(Revelation 14:10)
Also in the midst of the lamb are the 144000 (the saints as labourers),
and the great multitude which no man can number (the saints as the harvest).
(Revelation 7:4,9), (Revelation 14:1)
So there in Isaiah 66:24, it is the nation of Israel (All followers of Jesus Christ)
who is witnessing the final destruction of sin and the devil.
We can say as follows: ...for their worm (the saints in Jesus Christ) shall not die,
neither shall their fire be quenched (the robe of righteousness of the saints).
further it says : and they (the unrighteous and sinners who are consumed by the fire)
shall be an abhorring (which means abomination) unto all flesh.
So when Jesus comes in his glory, and the glory of the heavenly
Father, and the glory of all the angels 'Luke 9:26', it will be
as a consuming fire to the wicked (2 Thessalonians 1:7-10),
but we who are alive; our bodies will be instantly changed into glorious bodies
just like that of Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:21), so that this
fire will not consume us who are righteous (I Corinthians 15:52-53).
When you read the context after Jesus said "where the worm
never dies, and the fire cannot be quenched", he went on to say
"For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be
salted with salt". Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness,
wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace
one with another. (Mark 9:49-50)
Jesus says we as christians are the Salt of the earth. 'Matthew 5:13'
Therefore, it is our faith and belief in him that gives the
Word of God its flavor throughout the nations unto all people.
Without faith, we are a sinner and will perish in the fire.
That is why Peter also said that our faith
will be tried with fire (1 Peter 1:7).
If you do not have genuine and true faith in Christ,
you will not get that glorious change of your body, and you
will therefore be consumed in the glorious presence of the Lord.
Remember, God is spirit (John 4:24) and he is also a consuming fire.
(Deuteronomy 4:24), (Hebrews 12:29)
So because God is eternal; his excistance is eternal,
his spirit is eternal, and God himself (as the consuming fire)
(Deuteronomy 9:3) is called "the eternal fire".
So here we learn that the unrighteous/wicked will consume
away and burn to ashes and be as if they never were.
Even the old wicked Devil himself with his angels
will burn to ashes, so that the earth is purged (Hebrews 9:14)
of all sin, to receive its new make-over.
And there will be no more temptation. (2 Peter 3:10,13)
This is a wide world system called "Babylon".(Revelation 17)
babylon is consist of the Dragon (Satan),
the beast (Nation, kingdom),and the false prophet(anti-christ).
according to Revelation chapters 16 to chapter 18.
Did you know that it is the rightous who will be
dwelling among the Lord, and will therefore be
dwelling among the everlasting fire???
because our God is a consuming fire;
(Hebrews 12 :29)...God is a consuming fire
(Deuteronomy 4: 24) For the Lord thy God is a
consuming fire ...
(Deuteronomy 4: 36)...and upon the earth he showed
you his great fire ;and you heard his words out of
the midst of the fire .
In Revelation chapter 15:2 John saw (during the prophetic
vision) a sea of glass as if mingled with fire.
He was actually seeing God's glory reflecting on the surface
before the throne as described in chapter 4 verse 6.
(Isaiah 33: 12- 17) ....who among us shall dwell
with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell
with everlasting burnings?
He that walketh righteously, and speaketh
uprightly ...that stoppeth his ears from hearing
of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
...Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty:
they shall behold the land that is very far off.
(Matthew 5:8) Blessed are the pure (holy) at heart
for they shall see God.
(2nd Peter 3:10-11)...but the day of the Lord will
come...in which the heavens shall pass away with
great noise ,and the elements shall melt with
fervent heat, the earth also and the works that
are therein shall burned up.
...what manner of persons ought you to be
in all holy conversation and godliness.
(1st John 3: 1-3) ....beloved now are we the sons
of God ,and it doth not appear what we shall be;
but we know that, when he shall appear we shall
be like him;for we shall see him as he is.
and everyman that have this hope in him purifieth
himself, even as he is pure.
We purify ourselves with the spirit of Jesus Christ
according to (Psalm 119:9-11, John 15:3, Ephesians 5: 25-27).
(Daniel 3: 22- 25) the 3 friends of Daniel;
"Hananiah, "Mishael", and "Azariah" was able
to stand in the midst of the overwhelming heated fire
with the son of man (Jesus Christ).
The guards were killed by the heat while they cast
these 3 brave men into the fire.
(Exodus 24: 16-18) And the glory of the Lord
abode upon mount Sinai,....and the sight of
the glory of the LOrd was like a devouring fire
on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children
of israel.
And Moses went into the midst of the cloud...
and Moses was in the Mount 40 days and 40 nights.
(Revelation 4 :5 ) ...and there were seven LAMPS
Of FIRE burning before the throne, which are the
seven spirits of God.
In (Ezekeil chapter 1) Ezekeil describes his vision of
God on the throne as one who is of pure fire and flashes
of lightening comming from the throne.
So we finally learned that it is all those that are
in Jesus Christ will dwell in the glorious presence
of the Lord who is a consuming fire and who is everlasting,
and we will live with him forever.
what will enable us to live in the presence of God's Glory?
Our body will be immediately changed like that of Jesus Christ, (Philippians 3:21)
which is flesh and blood, but also glorious and without corruption.
(Revelation 4 :5 )
in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.
For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable,
and we will be changed.
For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable,
and the mortal with immortality.
Today God is using his people with the message
1.to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ (Revelation 14 :6)
1.to call people out of Babylon (spirtualy meaning to come out
of sin and darkness)(Revelation 18 :4)
2.to restore the truth about the sabbath day(Rev 14:7, Exodus 20 :10- 11),
3.to point out who is the beast and what is his Mark (Revelation 14 :9)
4.to Keep the commandments of God, and have the Faith of Jesus Christ (Revelation 14 :12)
Today, we may be deceived, but we cannot
escape the judgment of the word of God.
(Hebrews 4: 12) it is said that the word of God
is living, and powerful, and sharper than any
twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing
asunder of the soul and spirit...
So even the wicked things you are thinking in your
mind are being recorded in the books in heaven.
(Proverbs 15:11),(Jeremiah 17:9),(Hebrews 4:13)
Therefore surrender your life to Jesus Christ
and everday pray to God the Father through him
that you may receive his holy spirit to guide you.
(Psalm 139:23-24),(Philippians 4:8)
Repent of your sins now and be baptize
because now is the time of Salvation
and everyday could be your last day.
